Gamrie Creatives weekend 7th, 8th and 9th August, welcoming old friends and first timers. Enjoy wandering up and down the winding paths and steps, taking in the views of Gamrie Bay and discovering artists, designers and makers.

Family Fun Day
Join us for a massive Family Fun Day packed with great food, live music, workshops, and community celebration. Hosted together by The Garden Arms, The Wee Gamrie Kitchen, and Gamrie Gardens CIC. Absolutely everyone is welcome, and yes, that includes your four-legged friends.

Food & Drink: Feast on a delicious BBQ, grab an ice cream, or try our summer mocktails. We’ve even put together a dedicated Dog Menu for the pups.
Crafts: Try your hand at stone painting with Linda Shearer-Whiting, or plant your own seeds with Gamrie Gardens.
For the Kids: We’ll have bubbles, face painting, chalk arts, and giant games out on the grounds.
Plant Sale: Pick up something green to take home from the Gamrie Gardens plant sale.
Live Music in the evening.
We still have even more to be confirmed closer to the date, so keep an eye out.

Bracoden School 150th Anniversary
Gardenstown’s Bracoden Primary School marked a milestone with a community event on Saturday June 14th to celebrate its 150th Anniversary.
Since the school first opening in 1875, many generations of young people have passed through its doors. A commemorative plaque was unveiled to mark the occasion.
“On behalf of everyone at Bracoden Primary School, we would like to sincerely thank you for joining us in celebrating our 150th anniversary. Your presence helped make the day truly special and memorable.
We are also very grateful for your kind words and positive praise — it meant a great deal to our school community.

Aberdeen Business News Reports “Bracoden School near Gardenstown received a special note of congratulations on reaching its 150th anniversary at the weekend when local MP Seamus Logan put down a Motion in the House of Commons recognising the milestone and congratulating the school.
Mr Logan was one of the many guests who attended a special celebratory event at the school on Saturday, which included the Lord Lieutenant of Banffshire and Banffshire and Buchan Coast MSP Karen Adam.”
