Set in the heart of the Seatown area of the old fishing village, Herons is close to the sea and beach on a narrow stepped lane between the sea wall road and the brae above. It is close to both the beach and the harbour.
Herons, number 37 Seatown, is a two bedroom cottage sleeping four located in the centre of the old Seatown area of Gardenstown.
The cottage includes an entrance hall leading to a combined dining kitchen seating up to six with a view from the front of the house towards the sea. Beyond the dining area is the living room which also has a sea view and both rooms have coal fires in addition to electric heaters.
In the living room is a digital TV with Freeview and inbuilt DVD, a CD player, Wii, and a variety of DVDs games, puzzles and books. Wi-fi access allows you to retain contact with the outside world!
At upper floor level are two bedrooms and the bathroom. The main bedroom includes a double bed and window to the front of the house with an excellent sea view, and to the rear there is a second bedroom with twin beds. The bathroom includes bath, basin and WC.
A large utility room is located at lower ground level accessed externally and includes two large sinks, washing machine and dryer. There is adequate space for washing down dirty dogs and storing wet gear, bikes or similar. And a table and chairs to allow you to get away from the family if you wish!!
All linen and towels are provided for your holiday.
The cottage is a NON SMOKING cottage.
Gardenstown is a dog friendly community and we welcome up to two well behaved dogs in Herons.
The owners live in the village so are usually available should you have any specific needs or queries!
